SEWER CAMERA
We can visually inspect and locate sewer laterals before construction begins
with our Sewer Lateral Evaluation Television System. This self-contained
portable unit allows a two- (2) person crew to view and locate the depth of 3",
4", and 6" sewer lateral connections up to 70 feet from the main sewer line.
The launcher is mounted on a tread tractor that propels itself through mainline
sewers and positions the inspection camera launcher opposite the lateral line
connection.
The camera is operated from inside an enclosed truck by remote control in which
the operator can visually inspect the sewer so that we can identify the
condition of the sewer and whether a sewer has pre-existing damage or root
infiltration. Everything is captured on videotape.
Some of the features include:
-
Able to locate laterals prior to directional drilling with integrated beacon
built into the camera.
-
Locator receiver handheld, locates position and depth of sewer lateral.
-
Operates in 8" relined and larger mainlines.
-
Color push camera with L.E.D. lighting.
-
Second positioning color camera simplifies insertion.
-
Separate elevation and rotation control.
-
Picture-in-picture overlay on TV screen.
-
On screen footage of lateral inspection/location.
-
Self propelled Tractor launcher allows single manhole entry and precise
positioning for easy insertion.
